The Irish Getaway
Has A New Home!!!
A scheduling conflict has fortunately made the Civitan Club Fairgrounds unavailable for the Irish Getaway in 2001! Fortunate because we have secured an even better location...the Laurens County Sportsmen's Club. The Sportsmen's Club is located on 47 beautiful acres along the banks of the Oconee River, just off highway 19, 8 miles south of the Laurens County courthouse.
The location is easy to find. From I-16, take exit 54 and go south 1.5 miles on highway 19 to Sportsmen's Club road. Just look for the sign.
The Sportmen's Club is in a rural area and away from traffic and congestion. The facility is clean and well-maintained, with a full-time groundskeeper living on the property for security.
Still its only about a ten minute ride from motels, restaurants, and the festivities of the Saint Patrick's Festival in Dublin.
There is lots of room for camping in either tents, trailers, or RV's, and also lots of space for vendors to set up. Take a few minutes and enjoy the photographic tour of the Sportmen's Club below.
Start making your plans now to come to Irish Getaway VIII on March 16 & 17, 2001!!!
